How will I benefit from FitMountain?

FitMountain coaches have coached people like yourself to lose weight, eat healthier and get in shape.

  1. First, your coach will focus on figuring out whats stopping you from achieving your health goals based on the photos of your meals
  2. Next, they will work with you to create a personalized plan, based on your health & your goals
  3. and finally they will help you implement your personalized plan, supporting you along the way.

The longest lasting changes in your health will revolve around healthy habits. FitMountain coaches will enable you to develop long lasting healthy habits such as:

  • choosing the right foods based on your health goals
  • identifying strategies to eat healthy when eating out
  • getting support when things don't go according to plan
  • learning how to plan your meals in advance
  • learning how to shop for healthy foods
  • exercising regularly and
  • and much more.

After a few months these habits and skills will be a permanent part of your new lifestyle.

What do I get with a membership to FitMountain?

You get access to your very own real life certified nutrition expert who has at least a 4 year degree in studying nutrition, clinical experience and who has passed state licensure for the same.

During the first week, they'll give you feedback on your present diet and figure out whats the biggest barrier to you reaching your health goals. From there they will create personalized goals which will help you achieve your health goals. You can also ask them questions as you progress on your personalized plan.

Some of the things your coach will do:

  1. Daily feedback on your meals, every weekday

  2. Emails from your real life coach to keep you accountable and on track

  3. Access to your real life coach 24/7 via in the app

  4. Exercise support and accountability

  5. Community features like forums, tracking tools to further support you in making fitness a regular part of your life.

  6. Ability to book in-person sessions with your coach if you live in the same area.

  7. And much more ...

How much does a membership to FitMountain cost?

FitMountain.com coaching plans start form $59/month and will coach you every weekday. Most similar in-person dietitian services cost $100/hour, so you can easily spend $400 or more in a month with other services.

How do I pay for FitMountain membership?

You can pay via your credit card and get started. Every coach has a 7 day, free trial so there is no risk in signing up for a coach.

All payment information is securely stored with our payment provider Stripe.


Nutrition Coaches

Does FitMountain help me find the right coach?

Yes we find 3 to 5 different coaches that match goals and you can choose between any of them. You can switch coaches if required.

What will my coach do for me?

Your nutrition coach will first look at all the of your meals and figure out what is the biggest barrier to you achieving your goals. Your coach will create a nutrition and exercise plan suited for your goals. He/she will then support you to make healthy eating and regular exercise a routine part of your life. The coach will monitor your progress on healthy eating and exercise and help you figure out what to do if you fall back into unhealthy habits. When you exceed their expectations they'll cheer you on and help you focus on future goals. Ready?

How do I contact my coach?

You can contact your coach by using the chat feature on the FitMountain App. Also your coach can see all photos of your meals taken with the FitMountainApp.Your coach will comment on your meal photos and chat with you in the FitMountainApp itself. Your coach will get back to you within a 24-48 hour period, but most times earlier than that.

How many times can I contact my coach?

You can contact your coach as many times as you want. Your coach will get back to you within a 24-48 hour period usually it'll be quicker than that.

They will also contact you if they see that you've been falling behind on your eating, exercise or healthy habits and help fix the roadblocks you're having. Also if they see that you're sticking to your plan then they'll shower you with praise.


Using FitMountain

What should I focus on first - eating healthy, exercising or figuring out my stressors?

Buying the right foods is the most important first step to health. This allows you to eat healthy which is 80% of the battle.

Eating healthy will, in turn, help you feel better which will give you the confidence to take some time and figure out what is stressing you out. Exercise is a great stress reliever and a great way to build stamina, reduce cholesterol etc. After making eating healthy a permanent part of your life, you can explore all the different exercise options available to you and join an exercise community.

So, focus on getting nutrition right first. As most coaches will agree - you can't out-train a bad diet.

How do I get to my grocery list?

You can access your grocery list from on your home screen of the FitMountainApp.

How is my coach monitoring my progress?

Your coach is sent all your workout and nutrition data once a day at the end of the day. This way they can see what's working for you and what isn't and can give you the information you need to get back on track. They will also encourage you and cheer you on as you progress through every week of coaching.

When will I see results?

As you start eating healthy, exercising and getting rid of stressful elements with the support of our coaches, you'll start feeling better immediately. The longer you stick with these behaviors the greater your results. More importantly these behaviors will stick with you for the rest of your life.

If you do everything that your coach tells you to do and you stick to your eating and exercise plan strictly then you should be able to start seeing results in 2-3 weeks. But remember, it's not the immediate results that matter but how you make eating healthy and exercising a permanent part of your life.


Free Trial, Cancellations & Refunds

Do you have a free trial period?

We offer a 7 day, free trial on all our plans. So if at anytime within the first week of your membership, you feel that FitMountain is not for you then you can cancel and we will refund all your money. ( The free trial only applies if you pay by credit-card via FitMountain.com.)

What is your refund policy?

It is very important, to us, that your experience FitMountain is of the highest quality. Since we offer a generous 7 day, free trial where you get to test the system with the coach. We don't offer refunds after period except on a very limited case by case basis. If you think you deserve a refund, after the first week has completed, please contact vivek@fitmountain.com.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking on "Account" -> "Subscriptions" menu item which will take you to your subscription status. From there you can cancel your subscription by clicking on the Cancel Membership button.

If you cancel during your trial period then your credit card will not be charged. If you are already enrolled in membership with us then we will not bill your credit card again after you cancel with us. And your membership will end after the current paid-for period ends.

Can I use FitMountain with my own nutritionist ?

Yes you can use FitMountain with your own nutritionist. Just ask your personal trainer/coach to contact us at vivek@fitmountain.com. She can start helping you in the same way our FitMountain coaches help their clients.
